Daniel Funk, PMHNP-BC, is a psychiatric–mental health nurse practitioner who has dedicated his career to compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University in 2018 and practices in collaboration with Guardian Medical Direction physicians.

Daniel has worked in the mental health field since 2013, beginning as a patient care assistant, then as a psychiatric nurse, and ultimately as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. His experience spans multiple treatment environments, including inpatient units, PHP/IOP programs, outpatient clinics, and telemedicine.

He treats a wide range of mental health conditions across the lifespan, including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, thought disorders, behavioral concerns, and addiction-related conditions. Daniel uses a patient-centered, therapeutic approach focused on collaboration, respect, and individualized care.

Known for being compassionate, open-minded, and non-judgmental, he strives to make every patient feel heard and supported. He prioritizes clear communication and typically responds the same day through the CharmEHR patient portal, or within 24–48 hours on weekends and holidays.

​You have the option to self-pay. Rates are $180 for the initial psychiatric evaluation and $80 for subsequent follow-up appointments. Payments are done through CharmEHR's secure payment portal or an emailed invoice. A credit card is the only acceptable form of payment for self-pay.
